Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527363) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree or a Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Medical Anthropology, Public Health, or a related discipline.  They should have excellent work attitudes, communication skills, and a good command of written English and/or Chinese; knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS and NVivo; and be able to work independently and as a team.  Preference will be given to those with previous experience in systematic literature review, qualitative research, project evaluation, data analysis, and report or grant writing.

The appointee will join a dynamic research team led by Prof. William Wong which involves medical professionals, epidemiologist, and psychologists in the field of Family Medicine and Primary Care.  The appointee will work on various projects related to sexual health, infectious diseases, and/or health promotion.  Applicants with a PhD degree may be considered for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits, if applicable.
